A Ning Thing

This 'list' for want of a better word was inspired by an episode of 'sound charades' from the radio 4 show 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue', when Barry and Graham had to describe 'The Shining'. They came up with the tale of a little creature called a 'Ning' that didn't like meeting people; hence The Shy Ning. I wondered what other variations of this creature might exist and this is what I came up with. There may be more. Some of them may seem not to work at first but it's all in the pronunciation I promise.
